Little Astronauts & Space Adventures – November Curriculum Box (Printed DIY Edition)
A month of rockets, planets, curious little astronauts and out-of-this-world learning!
Welcome to Little Astronauts & Space Adventures – your November Early Years Curriculum Box, thoughtfully planned, beautifully printed and delivered straight to your door.
This November, we're heading somewhere rather exciting.
SPACE!
We're leaving our familiar little world behind and setting off on a whole month of extraordinary discoveries. There are rockets to launch, planets to explore, mysterious space deliveries to investigate and a universe full of questions waiting to be answered.
And when you're little, the idea that there's an enormous world beyond the clouds is pretty incredible!
Throughout November, children will become curious space explorers, discovering more about the Moon, stars, planets, astronauts and the amazing universe around us.
But this isn't simply a collection of activities with rockets and planets attached.
Every experience is carefully designed to support meaningful learning across all seven areas of the EYFS, helping children communicate, investigate, move, create, imagine, problem-solve and make sense of the world.
Because little minds can make some pretty enormous discoveries.
Where Space Adventures Meet Meaningful Learning
The space theme captures children's curiosity. What we do with that curiosity is where the learning begins.
Children might think they're investigating a mysterious delivery from space, reporting their discoveries to Mission Control or exploring what astronauts can see beyond Earth.
Behind the scenes, they're developing communication skills, vocabulary, listening, confidence, scientific thinking, physical skills, creativity and so much more.
Little Astronauts & Space Adventures has been designed to help children:
-
develop communication and listening skills through exciting space discoveries, descriptions and conversations
-
build confidence, independence and perseverance through meaningful challenges
-
explore early mathematical concepts through playful investigations and problem-solving
-
develop curiosity about Earth, the Moon, planets and the wider universe
-
investigate materials, movement and change through hands-on experiences
-
strengthen physical skills through active, purposeful play
-
express their ideas and imagination through creative experiences and exploration
To the children, it's an adventure into space. To the practitioner, there's a whole universe of learning taking place.

Created by Someone Who Understands Early Years
Hi, I'm Becca – The Childcare Fairy.
As a qualified teacher and early years provider myself, I know that the best learning experiences are the ones that really capture children's interest.
And space is one of those subjects that can spark the most wonderful curiosity.
How do rockets get into space? What's on the Moon? Why do astronauts float? Just how many stars are up there?!
Of course, we're not expecting two-year-olds to understand the solar system!
But we CAN introduce big ideas through meaningful, hands-on experiences that build on what children already know.
That's exactly what I've set out to do with this box.
Real learning. Exciting experiences. Less planning and preparation for you.
And hopefully a few moments when the children look at you with enormous eyes and say, "WOW!"
